First Day of P90X Workout - Chest & Back, Ab Ripper
I have gone through the entire day one. I'm a fairly fit person having played soccer most my life, and sometimes working out when I had the time. I've gone through day 1 which is the chest and back video and also the ab ripper. It goes through a good warm up, sets of varied push ups and pull ups, and then repeats the program backwards. Boy was it hard, I could not keep up with the sets towards the end. I could usually do 50+ push ups any time I want to, but for my last set of push ups I could barely manage 10 straight push ups. To top it off the Ab Ripper X was amazingly hard starting with the first set. I never knew there were so many ways to do sit ups. The program does 325 sit ups total in sets of 25 but I don't even think I managed 200 of them. At the end of my first workout though, I never felt better. I was sweating all over and felt the strain of my muscles all around.

Hey hey...
ReplyDeleteSo as a blog guy myself, I know it's more difficult to find the time to update when you think "ahhh who's really reading?"
Well I am.
And as someone who once attempted this in his apartment (did not work out so well with the banging and the yelling from downstairs) I am interested in seeing how you do...
So keep with the updates!
How are you going about with marking progress?
I am also reading chief
